Kristin McLeod

Kristin McLeod is currently working as a Postdoctoral fellow in the Cardiac Modeling (CaMo) Department at the Simula Research Laboratory in Oslo, Norway. Her topic is "Development of descriptive and predictive computational models of ARVC heart anatomy and function".

Her doctoral degree was completed in November 2013 at the Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis, with research carried out in the Asclepios research team of INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France. Her PhD, focusing on reduced-order statistical models of cardiac growth, motion and blood flow, was supervised by Xavier Pennec and Maxime Sermesant. Kristin McLeod also hold’s a part-time external Postdoctoral Fellowship at INRIA.

Areas of interest include statistical cardiac modeling and reduced order modeling, with the overall goal of deriving models of cardiac phenomena to complement and aid with diagnosis and therapy planning.
