Margot Pasternak

Margot Pasternak, M.Sc, is a PhD scholar at the CCI and the USART.

Margot was born in the west of France in 1987 and grew up in Normandy. Having completed her Mathematics and Physics “classes préparatoires”, she joined the French engineering school PHELMA in Grenoble, France, in 2008. She graduated in July 2012, after an exchange semester in Australia and a final internship on MR images processing in Germany. With her M.Sc. in Physics and specialization in biotechnologies, she joined the USART project as a Ph.D. student in June 2013, adding in Oslo a new step to her international research career path.

Her part of the project concerns real-time monitoring with ultrasound of location and shape of treated zones during catheter ablation in cardiac arrhythmias treatment.
