Raja Sekhar Bandaru

Raja Sekhar Bandaru, M.Sc, is a PhD scholar at the CCI and the USART.

Raja Sekhar Bandaru was born in Hyderabad, India. He did his Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communication engineering.  He received his M.Ss. degree in Embedded Systems Design from IIIT, India in 2006, with a thesis on simulation of CT Image Reconstruction.

During his studies he worked as a Research Assistant and was part of signal control software development for Giant Meter-wave Radio Telescope. After finishing his Master's degree, Raja joined the Patni Computer Systems (India & Japan), working as an engineer on various medical image processing projects in CT, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Ultrasound.

In 2010, he joined Philips Innovation Campus (Bangalore, India) conducting research and development in various Ultrasound software projects. Raja joined the USART project and the CCI as a Ph.D. student in 2013.
