Cancer treatment is essential for many patients. The treatment of cancer, however, may have serious side effects.
Emerging data have highlighted the increased risk of acute and late heart failure in patients undergoing different cancer therapies. At present, reliable follow up programs are poorly defined and cut off values for changing or stopping cancer treatment are lacking.
